It’s a cosmetic procedure aimed at creating the appearance of a fuller head of hair, whether you’re looking to cover thinning areas, or scars, or achieve a closely shaved look. On the other hand, traditional tattoos are primarily artistic and decorative, created to express individuality through various designs, patterns, and colors on the skin. ## **Needle and Equipment** SMP uses ultra-fine needles and specialized equipment that allow for precise placement of tiny, hair-like impressions on the scalp. The needles are smaller, and the technique is much more delicate, ensuring a natural, realistic result. Traditional tattoos use larger needles and machines designed to deposit ink deeper into the skin, which is why the process is more invasive and the results are more permanent. ## **Pigment Used** The pigments in SMP are designed to match natural hair colors ensuring a subtle, realistic appearance that ages well with you. SMP is a highly specialized procedure that requires advanced training, precision, and expertise to achieve a natural, realistic look. The use of high-quality pigments and equipment, along with the meticulous attention to detail, contributes to its higher cost compared to traditional tattoos.
